Lekuraiya Farah

He was born in 2005 and is the second born in a family of six children. Farah’s father attended primary school, but his mother did not. Farah’s parents are separated and he lives with his mother. He is the first in his family to attend school and complete primary school! When he was young, he lived with his grandmother, who lived near Learata Primary School and because his grandmother had seen so many people who attended school go on to be independent and successful, she decided to take Farah to school.

Once he started at school, he has been one of the top three students in his class throughout. His favorite subject is English and his dream is to become a journalist! He once took a trip to Nairobi and met a journalist and from that point on he has had his heart set on becoming one. In addition to being a fantastic student, he was a member of the health club and responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the school. He also loved playing volleyball. He says it’s the best way to relax after a busy day. All and all, Farah is a wonderful young man!
