Lepakiyo Ltatarin

He was born in 2005 and is the second of six children in his family. He is the first and only child in school. All of his siblings live a traditional Samburu lifestyle, taking care of the animals and migrating with them to find pasture and water. Moses lives only with his mother, as his father passed away when he was young. As a result, his mother supports the family and takes care of all of the animals. Moses and his family live near Nesesiai preschool and Moses was very attracted to the other kids who got to attend so he begged his mother to go to school. She allowed him to go and he attended the school under an acacia tree sitting on a small stone.

In 2012, Moses joined Ndonyo Wasin Primary School and since then he has been doing very well. He has been motivated to work hard so that he can help support his family in the future. His favorite subject is science and he wants to be a science teacher after finishing college. In addition to being a great student, Moses was selected class 8 prefect by his schoolmates, loves playing soccer and was a member of the wildlife club. The wildlife club is responsible for conserving the school environment by planting and watering trees on the school grounds. Moses is a fine young man and is excited to continue his education, thanks to you!
