Lesuper Thomson

Thompson Lesupeer was born in 1998 and is the third born of eight children. His parents noticed those with an education had a better lifestyle than those not in school. So they decided to put Thompson is school. They believe that with an education the violence of cow raiding will come to an end. They worry for their children’s lives as active warriors and would rather see their children get jobs with their education than out live them living an aggressive warrior lifestyle.
Every night after supper he and his siblings sit down with his grandmother while she tells folktales about animals. He feels he knows more about animals and their behaviors from these stories and would know how to defend himself if an elephant were ever to attack.
At this point they don’t have any cattle but do have 5 goats, 2 sheep and 1 chicken.
Thompson loves science particularly learning about the human body and how it functions. He also likes learning about mathematics. With math he’s learned how to make change properly and can now handle money.
He dreams of one day building a house made of clay or bricks for his mother and he to live in. One with a proper roof so they will stay warm and dry at night when it rains and a sturdy floor so no mud filled with the smell of their livestock will come flooding in.
