Leore’s brother is 8 years older than Leore and he also went to Sereolipi Primary School but when he finished school in 2002 there was no one to pay his fees to secondary education so he started work as a goat herder working for a man in the village. He is paid in goats —- one for every 3 months work. Leore is well aware how hard his brother works and how little he is paid. He wants to go to technical school to learn masonry so he can be a builder and get a good job. His goal is to be self sufficient and to be able to send as much money home to his family as possible.

Leore achieved 235 marks in his KCPE exams. He is a good student. He is an active member of the scouts and loves athletics – he won the 100 meters and the 200 meters in the district championships. He was also on the volleyball team. In the holidays he helps his brother with the goats. He digs wells for water for the animals and shares the herding
